Meet our Chairman of the Board
Chairman Katie Winchester began her banking career at First Citizens National Bank in 1961, serving as President of both the bank and holding company from 1992 through 2006, and CEO from 1996 until April of 2007. She was named to the position of Chairman of the Board in 2006. Chairman Winchester served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Memphis Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis from 01/94 until 12/99. She served three one-year terms on the Federal Advisory Council, Federal Reserve Board of Governors, Washington, D.C. beginning in 1999 and ending in 2001. She is a former member of the Board of the Tennessee Bankers Association and the American Bankers Association, Community Banker's Council. She was recognized by the Tennessee Bankers Association in 2007 as a "Leader in Banking Excellence."
She remains active in service to the community, having served as past Chair of the Dyersburg State Community College Foundation Board and past Chairman of both United Way of West Tennessee and United Way of Dyer County. Katie has been active in local fundraising efforts, Co-chairing a capital campaign for the Dyersburg/Dyer County Chamber of Commerce in 2004, serving as Chair of the Annual Fund Campaign for Dyersburg State Community College in 2003/04 and 2004/05, and chairing the 2007 United Way of Dyer County Annual Fund Campaign. Katie currently serves as Chair of the McIver's Grant Public Library Capital Campaign. The purpose of the Campaign is to construct and furnish a new Dyer County Public Library. Prior fundraising efforts include the YMCA of Dyer County and the Dyer County Chapter of the American Red Cross.
Katie serves as past Chairman of the Corporate Board and as a member of the Board of Trustees of Baptist Memorial Health Care Systems, Inc., Memphis and is past Vice-Chairman of the Tennessee Higher Education Commission.
